Get Connected is a group of business owners from Solihull and the surrounding areas who have worked in or built up businesses across a wide range of sectors. We have experienced the good, the bad and the ugly of business networking which has inspired us to set up Get Connected. The clue is in the name. We believe networking isn’t about sales and pushy business people, nor is it about stats and performance figures, American style meetings and patting each other on the back. Networking is about building relationships, working with people and making connections. We believe that people buy off people and the only way that can happen is by getting to know each other – that’s when real, meaningful business happens.
So we believe that we’ve taken the best elements of our collective networking experience, removed the parts that don’t work and taken the dread out of going to networking meetings!
